I feel fortunate to call Kalamunda home, living and working on the Darling Range Escarpment over many years I continue to find immense enjoyment and comfort in the surrounding landscape. Originally from Sweden where nature is entwined in our social fabric, the escarpment area offered a continuation of that valued lifestyle.
Along with my husband Greg, we have been privileged to raise our daughters right here in the hills. We particularly enjoy walking the many nature trails and bring family and friends to enjoy the beautiful Australian bush, a place of inspiration and rejuvenation. My extensive experience includes many aspects of the property market, varying from property management for Defence Housing in Katherine NT, land sales in Augusta WA to real estate sales in Kalamunda since 2004. I believe my greatest asset is to relate to people from all walks of life, combine that with the willingness and attention to listen and interpret wants and needs, I can deliver a successful outcome for both sellers and buyers. Please call me anytime to discuss your options, our advice and appraisals are free of charge and we love a chat.

I believe that Real Estate isn’t just about property it’s about people and with great pride I have serviced the residents of Kalamunda and surrounds for most of my working career. Hard work, passion, integrity and total client focus, is my motto.
My pride in the community reflects my utmost commitment to its people, and my past success in business shows I’ll work my hardest to achieve the most favourable outcome for my clients.
Having grown up in the city of Kalamunda I know all aspects of the area top to bottom. A personal approach is my value and please know you are most welcome to our office in Gooseberry Hill for a chat about real estate or any other local advice.
I had an adventurous childhood in Carmel, enjoying exploring in the bush and attending Walliston Primary School. I moved to the city for my teenage years and early adulthood but I felt drawn back to the beauty of the bush, eventually coming back to the Hills area with my wife to raise our two daughters and share with them the fantastic childhood I experienced. I have now lived in Kalamunda for the past 14 years and enjoy the country town feel we have so close to the city. I am continually amazed by the wonderful natural landscape I get to call home.
I have over 30 years' experience working in the building and construction industry as a carpenter, working on many different projects across both commercial and residential sites. I know the simple changes that can be made to enhance a property and will give you honest, reliable advice based on my extensive knowledge. I look forward to working with the local community (and those looking for a tree change!) to achieve the best outcomes for both buyers and sellers. Feel free to drop by the Scarp Realty office or give me a call on my mobile to have a chat.

Jo is a true hills girl, having attended local primary and high schools then venturing overseas to explore the world. Then, as so many Hills residents do, returned to the hills to raise her 3 children in the same local community we all love and treasure.
